In Greece, the requirements for driving an RV are as follows:
Category B License: For most standard RVs that fall within the weight and size limits, a regular Category B driver's license is sufficient. This is the same license required to drive cars and small vehicles.
Weight Limit: The total weight of the RV (including the maximum authorized mass or gross vehicle weight) should not exceed 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs) for it to be considered within the standard Category B license requirements.
To ensure transparency and verify that you did not damage the vehicle upon delivery, we have implemented a verification process. Upon receiving the vehicle, our team will conduct a thorough inspection. Additionally, we will take an initial video recording of the vehicle's condition, capturing all angles and details.
This initial video serves as a reference point for comparison during the return of the vehicle. When you return the vehicle, our team will perform another inspection, carefully comparing its condition to the initial video recording. This allows us to identify any new damages or discrepancies.
By utilizing video documentation, we aim to provide a fair assessment and prevent any misunderstandings regarding the vehicle's condition. We prioritize transparency and accuracy in evaluating any potential damages incurred during the rental period. This process ensures that you are not held responsible for any pre-existing damage and that any new damages can be appropriately addressed.

Facilities Questions
Yes, the vehicles have undergone all the necessary technical checks and meet all safety standards. Stringent inspections and assessments have been conducted to ensure that the vehicles comply with the required safety regulations and standards. These checks encompass various aspects, including the functioning of essential components, adherence to emissions standards, and compliance with structural integrity guidelines. Additionally, the vehicles are equipped with safety features such as seatbelts, airbags, and child safety restraints to provide a secure and protected driving experience. Rest assured, the vehicles have met all the necessary technical checks and adhere to the established safety standards.
The specific pick-up and drop-off times for the vehicle can be obtained during the booking process. The booking platform will display the available time slots for pick-up and drop-off.
No, vehicle pick-up from other places such as the airport is not supported. However, we do offer a transfer service from and to the airport at an additional cost. This service ensures that you have convenient transportation between the airport and your desired location. Simply inform us of your travel details, and we will make the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transfer experience. Please note that the transfer service is available with an extra cost, and we would be happy to provide you with further details regarding pricing and arrangements.
Payment Questions

We accept multiple payment methods to provide convenience and flexibility to our customers. Currently, we support credit card payments and bank transfers. If you prefer to pay with a credit card, we accept major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. You can securely provide your credit card details during the payment process. Alternatively, if you opt for a bank transfer, we will provide you with the necessary banking information to initiate the transfer. This allows you to make a direct payment from your bank account to ours. By offering both credit card and bank transfer options, we aim to accommodate different preferences and ensure a smooth and seamless payment experience for our customers.
SouthRVs will require you to leave a security bond, which is an amount of money frozen on your credit card. Providing there are no additional charges at the end of your rental, the bond will be returned to the same card.
Our refund policy is as follows based on the given table:
- For returns made within 90 days of the original purchase, a refund of 90% of the purchase price will be issued.
- Returns made within 60 days of the original purchase will be eligible for a refund of 70% of the purchase price.
- If the return is made within 30 days of the original purchase, a refund of 50% of the purchase price will be provided.
- Returns made within 1 week (7 days) of the original purchase will be eligible for a refund of 30% of the purchase price.
